The Great Cookie Thief... A Sesame Street App Starring Cookie Monster App Reviews

My 2 year old loves Cookie Monster but hates this app. It takes too long to load each page of the story and is not engaging for her. Checked by myself and was disappointed. Thought after my girls loved Elmos Monster Maker this would be a good app for my 5 & 2 year olds but it has only been a disappointment. Would not recommend.

This is a decent app and Im glad I picked it up for 99¢ but I dont find it to be any where as good as their other two apps with Grover / Elmo. The story is pretty poor and the interactive elements are not as engaging as the other apps. I would definitely recommend the Grover & Elmo app/book before this one. Kind of disappointed to see in app purchases that dont add much to the experience. Was expecting more from this publisher.

I bought this app after purchasing the "Monster at the End of This Book" app with Grover. My grandkids loved the Grover book and I thought this would be the same quality. It takes far too long for the pages to load and there really isnt a prompt for the kids to turn the page. If you dont turn, there is continued talking, but then the next page doesnt match the story. Dont buy until they have corrected the wait-time problem. NOT the product I expected!

This takes me back to my childhood! The illustrations are true to the original books, but the interactivity is wonderful and modern. My students laughed at both the story and the game. Great app!

Cute, interactive graphics in the book. I like that you can have it read to you. It highlights the words as it reads. The kids also liked the creative art portion of the app! They liked creating their own pictures (using the iPad camera and "create" portion of the app) to draw on their photos.

This app stays true to the book, and adds more fun features. The voices of the characters are fun and my son loves that its a book come to life!

A fantastic app for any little fan of Cookie Monster. My 4 and 2 year olds love this, both for the story and the make-your-own-picture features.

My daughter loves this app (especially the part where u have to match different parts of Cookie Monster). She listens and plays with it over and over again. Keep these coming.

This app is solid, all-around fun and funny. Entertaining for young and old alike. The only negative is that it has a tendency to hiccup on my phone (iPhone 4). Sometimes the sound drops, scenes skip or it just crashes. When it works, its great; when it doesnt, its a bit frustrating. But it definitely works much more seamlessly on the iPhone 5.

Its a flop of a story, in fact its a stretch to call it a story. It doesnt have auto play for my toddler, and she doesnt like the negativity which is throughout the whole thing.

This app is definitely not worthy of Sesame Street. I watched it before I let the grand kids. I didnt want our 3/5 year old grand kids to watch a favored character lie. Deleted it from iPad same day.

Loved this app until it quit working about 5 months ago!!!! NO updates yet!!! Please fix!!!
